Dig Catering - FAQS

General

  • You bet! We offer pick-up and delivery catering in NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Boston, Philadelphia, Rye, Stamford, Georgetown, and Bridgewater.

  • We request all orders to be placed via our catering order page here. This helps us ensure a more seamless and secure ordering process. Any questions? You can always reach us at catering@diginn.com.

  • Since pricing can slightly vary depending on where you are located, the best way to look at pricing is to start by going to order.diginn.com/catering, input your delivery address, and you will be directed to the closest location. There you will see our catering menu with prices and can start adding items to your cart. Don’t need to place it right away? No worries, just log back in once you’re ready and your order will still be in your cart. Easy peasy. If you run into any snags just reach out to catering@diginn.com and our catering team will be happy to help.

  • Catering deadlines vary by restaurant. For the majority of our system, we ask that any catering orders be placed by 5pm of the day prior to your event - but we try our best to accommodate any last minute requests. Just reach out to catering@diginn.com and we’ll see what we can do!

  • Catering is available for parties of any size. Party of 1? Order catering trays for your weekly meal prep and say goodbye to TV dinners. Family of 4? Our catering offerings are great for feeding hungry little ones with plenty of leftovers to cover tomorrow’s lunch.

    We also have other options for feeding smaller groups:

    • Our Big DIG Dinner Box feeds 4 people. You choose 2 proteins, 2 bases, 5 sides, and 2 sauces, and we put it all together for you to take home and enjoy with your group (or use it for personal meal prep!).

    • Group ordering makes it easy to place an order for a group of 20 people or fewer. Instead of members of your group placing separate orders, group ordering allows you to collect everyone’s individual selections under one order. Whether you’re making lunch plans with co-workers, hanging with friends, or feeding a family, group ordering is a great option to make sure everyone gets exactly what they want without the logistical hassle of collecting detailed orders from every member of your group.   • You can order as much catering as you’d like to feed your guests! Each catering tray package ranges from feeding 10 people to feeding 30, but we also have individual bowls and a la carte trays available to supplement.

  • Got a couple RSVPs overnight? Meeting was pushed by a few hours? No problem! We just ask that all edits be submitted by 2 PM the day before your event. To request your change, please email catering@diginn.com.

  • We totally understand - a meeting gets canceled, an event delayed. Email us at catering@diginn.com and we’ll be happy to work with any scheduling changes.

    Canceling within 24 hours, we’ll refund 50% of your order’s total. With less than 12 hours notice, cancellations are non-refundable. Outside of that, there’s no penalty. The more heads-up we have, the better!

  • Please shoot an email with your event details to our catering team at catering@diginn.com. We would love to hear more about your needs.

Menu

  • One tray has 8-10 servings, with each serving size similar to our individually-packaged bowl portions.

  • You can order in two formats: individual bowls or tray catering.

  • If you request them on the checkout page, our catering orders will come with utensils. All tray catering will arrive with the same bowls that we use in our restaurants. Need something to serve with? We got you! You’ll see an option to request serving utensils on the checkout page as well.

  • Our catering menu has many dishes that accommodate dietary restrictions! Allergens, as well as vegan-friendly items, will be indicated on our menu. To help inform guests with allergies or sensitivities, “Big 8” allergens will be explicitly labeled on bowls and catering tray line-cards as well.

    That said, please indicate any allergens in your party under the order’s “special instructions” at checkout, so the team can take all possible precautions to avoid cross-contamination. Pickup & Delivery

  • On our ordering page here, enter the address of your event and select “Order Pickup”. Then, a list of DIG locations closest to you will load, and you can proceed with creating your order after selecting “Order From Here” on your desired location.

  • You can select delivery windows in 30 minute increments starting with 11:00-11:30 am. We recommend choosing an earlier window to allow for food set-up.

  • While we can’t 100% guarantee delivery to out-of-zone locations, feel free to check in with us by emailing catering@diginn.com and we’ll see what we can do. Also, you can always place a pick-up order from a nearby DIG restaurant.

  • Besides case-by-case pre-coordinated events, our catering services are drop-off only. That said, catering drop-offs can be made contact-free and we’re happy to accommodate any delivery instructions you add when placing your order.

Payment

  • We accept catering orders of all sizes! To have your catering delivered, we ask for a $150 minimum.

  • Yes, we do! Our house accounts have monthly billing, which is a great option for corporate clients looking to place a large volume of catering orders. If you’re interested in setting up a catering house account, please email catering@diginn.com.

  • Of course! Email catering@diginn.com to get started.

  • Tipping is optional, but gratuity for our drivers can be added at checkout and any amount is always appreciated.

  • Yes! We offer tax exemption on catering orders only. There will be a field at checkout to enter your Tax Exempt ID. If you have any questions, please reach out to catering@diginn.com.

  • So we can ensure your catering order is created in a timely manner, please reach out to catering@diginn.com with your voucher at least 24 hours in advance. Then, our catering team will approve your address so you’re able to place the order. After ordering, you’ll receive an invoice to coordinate payment with your internal Accounting contact.
